I have just spent my full day back at home. I had taken a direct flight up to MA to spend a week with my dad, and I returned yesterday around 3. I nearly pissed myself on the way there (I've flown a decent amount, but never in a plane THAT small) from all the wind drag and violent shaking of the air craft. Thankfully the flight was only about an hour long and I touched down in Hartford just on time, if not a little early.
The week was really nice, especially since that was the town I grew up in and I was able to see my old friends again. MY dad was unable to take off of work so I was alone in his house for a few hours after I woke up. The time was spent solely playing Resident Evil 4 on Wii. God I'm fricken addicted to that game now! I beat it twice while I was there and now I have the uncontrolable impulse to get 5 and play the shit out of that...
Ahem... Anyway, I visited with my friends Ben and Sam (brothers) and I was enlightened to the fact that everyone I had known in elementary school was, or currently is, (including them) a pot head. Heh, I was ammused by this, but I guess the way the town is, drugs are the best passtime.
Dad and I went to Six Flags on wednesday and had a fricken awesome time!!! We bought a flash pass thing that basically allowed us to cut people in line and go straight to the ride. I felt empowered! And the dirty looks we got as we passed all the comoners was an added bonus.

The flight back was much better even though they predicted moderate turbulence whereas the flight there was only slight. Perhaps it was a phsychological thing, but either way, I was able to read calmly instead of white kuckling the arm rests the entire way. Now me and my new aviator sunglasses are glad to be back at home, even though I'll miss my dad. Can't wait for next year! Now it's time to write some more.
